JOB SUMMARY

We are growing! Join a growing Accounting Department in Woodland Hills, CA. The Senior Accountant role is an excellent opportunity to support the Accounting Manager during an exciting time of substantial corporate growth and upgrading processes and procedures.

  • Analyze corporate operating expenses and provide fluctuation analysis
  • Work with FP&A on corporate allocations to adjust GL
  • Provide support and guidance to the Staff Accountant
  • Assist in the financial report and consolidation creation to provide backup to the Accounting Manager
  • Production of Lender reporting package for submission to bank
  • Maintain the balancing of intercompany and work with divisional controllers if variances
  • Book payroll entries from ADP
  • Book and maintain deferred rent schedule
  • Assist in annual audit and tax return PBC requests
  • Assist in general process improvements and process documentation for all facets of the accounting cycle
  • Develop internal relations at all levels providing high support and a high level of customer service
  • Other assignments as needed

EDUCATION & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel required
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Public/private background preferred
  • Insurance industry experience preferred

Physical Demands
